Hope you remember me as Vineesh Kumar of 1992 - 1996 batch (92760 ). Its great that I am able to get in touch with you. I am presently working as Product manger with ICICI bank limited ( Agro division ). I have few Pajancoans with me at ICICI. I was just trying to figure out wheather there was any alumini at Pajancoa so that we could be of help to young Pajancoans. Hope the college is going on fine as usual. Please feel free to conatct me for any reason as I would be previledged to do it for you.
ICICI has its own entrance exam which is quite simple. To look into ICICI you need to first register yourself with ICICI careers.com then, HR will give you a call based on vacancy but they may give a call for an opening in ICICI not particularly with the agro division. But my sincere advice to all agri graduates would be to look in for an MBA either with IIM, IRMA or MANAGE as an MBA degree will take you a long way. So concentrate on preparing for Manage.

WALK-IN INTERVIEW AT PAJANCOA&RI ON 28 NOVEMBER 2005
'KUDUMBAM' an NGO based at Trichy, has planned to start a Diploma Course in Agriculture for the benefit of young boys and girls of the farming families in Tsunami affected coastal areas of Nagapattinam district to equip them with modified technologies, which do not succumb to natural furies. The diploma course commences from January 2006 at two centres, Nagapattinam and Poraiyar under the banner "KUDUMBAM RURAL COMMUNITY COLLEGE".In this connection, the NGO is in need of four agricultural graduates/ postgraduates to be posted as teachers. Interested candidates are requested to appear for the walk-in interview at PAJANCOA&RI on 28 November 2005 at 11.00 A.M.

Money And Opportunity in Italy

This is a news bit i got from another group mailing list. It seems there is some money for collabaration with an Italian university.
The web link is in italian, so u need to write to the secretary or someone to find out the details.
"It looks like there are some money for Indian young researchers to come and work in Italy. There are in fact 100 scholarship of 15000 euros each. It is required that an agreement is signed between two universities (one in India, where the young scientist would come from, and mine, essentially). Information is available at http://www.miur.it/0006Menu_C/0012Docume/0015Atti_M/5129Bando__cf2.htm> Proposal must be presented to the Rector of this University by October 17 and everything must be> perfected early in 2006. "
